TransactionTree’s eReceipt solution not only captures the customer receipt, it attaches it, in the form of a digital image, to a dynamic email template, which contains content relevant to the customer as well as any other information the retailer may wish to include. For example, it may be a marketing message customized for that specific customer, a hyperlink taking the customer to the retailer’s website along with an invitation to shop online, take a survey or join the retailer’s loyalty program. The email may also contain information driven content such as the retailer’s return and exchange policy or just a personal message, such as, “Thank you for shopping with us, we appreciate your business.” All of this taking place within two minutes of the transaction’s completion. The receipt may also be stored in an online repository where the customer, at no charge, can access their receipt from anywhere via a secure customer portal using an Internet enabled device; thus delivering a true omni-channel solution.
